new layout!

I’ve had this tumblr for almost a year, it’s about time. I think this looks way better than the old layout. I’m going to play with font colors forever now.

this could not have been published at a better time…

I seriously hope this is true, and I am focusing on GIS :). But it doesn’t make up for the comments about stuff like whether I have memorize a bunch of capitals for my classes…

Thanks to GIS, there are non-academic jobs that require a bachelor’s degree in “Geography or a related field.” Beat that, Sociology.

This makes me want to improve my crochet skills. But you could probably knit something like this though…

Yeesh, I wish I had the patience for something like this.

Dear next-door neighbors,

Maybe everybody doesn’t want to listen to you practice your DJ skills as loud as possible outside. Even though it’s 5:30 PM on Saturday (so you’re probably not making it hard for most people to sleep or study), it’s still a really inconsiderate thing to do. You’re not even trying to keep the music down; it’s just so pompous to assume that everybody wants to listen to your music like this. If we were in a real neighborhood, and not in college, I’m sure your neighbors would have come over and told you to turn it down. But since we’re in college, nobody wants to be the party pooper telling you to turn the music down, even if they are really annoyed with you. I’m just going to send a message into the universe right now: SHUT UP!

Sincerely,

-E
